SNOW??? You wanna talk about snow?
HOLY COW!!! We are getting hammered with the stuff. It has been snowing all day and we have about 3 1/2 feet on the ground right now. It is still snowing like a mad dog as I write this. The forecast calls for nothing but snow for the next 10 days. So I wanna know who ordered the triple dose or who shook up the snow globe here in North Idaho, cause I haven't seen snow here like this in about 7 years. So this morning we got up as usual on a Sunday morning and got ready for the 8:00 church service. Well we planned on leaving early because of the snow and Jim and Amber went outside and started to shovel. As I came out at about 7:30, Jim says, "Hop in the car and back out and we will finish the rest after church." So, I hop in the car, start to back out and get stuck. So, we say, that's okay, we will just pull out the old blue truck (which has 4x4) and pull ourselves out. So, we hop in "old blue" (as we call it) and tromp out of the driveway, like it was nothing. As we are getting ready to hook up the cable to pull ourselves out the battery goes dead in 'old blue'. And of course, we are blocking the entire road at this point. Fortunately, one of our neighbors down the road comes by and offeres to give us a jump start in 'old blue', so that we can pull our car out. All in all, that is exactly what happened. So, now that all 4 of us look like we just came out of a tsunami, we all pile in 'old blue' and head out for church. We ended up making it early for the 9:30 service. So we just went inside and waited in the foyer and played a game of chess with the kids. I swear sometimes it feels like satan attacks our family on Sundays more than any other day. I am so glad that we didn't get discouraged though today, cause it was one of the best sermons I have heard. (of course I like all of the sermons at our church), but this one was awesome. Our pastor is definitely not afraid to step out of his comfort zone and preach the Word like it is meant to be interpreted. If you are ever interested, you can check out any of his sermons online at http://reallifeministries.com/sermons_current todays sermon was called "Living in a Pagan World, Part 1".

Anyways, back to the snow.... here is the kids today in front of the house, notice the snow is almost about to cover our little chicklets.

Here is Jimmy playing in the snow burm out by the road where the plows have come by...

Here is our walkway to the house,
