Good grief Charlie Brown!!! It has been over a year since I last posted anything.... We did not fall off the face of the planet, we've just been busy.... really busy!!!
Ok, since last June?...... hmmm.....
Well in January we went to Mexico on another mission trip. It was absolutely AMAZING to see God work in Tecate, Baja California!!! We went there to do dicipleship & small group training and God really worked in the people of Tecate! There are some great pastors and church leaders that came in from miles around to learn about how to make disciples in a relational environment and make it reproducible. I guess that now they have put it all into practice and they are now disciples who are making disciples!! Woohoo!!! GO GOD!!!
In March, Jim started full time as a pastor at our church and it has been a Fantastic journey of complete chaos... don't get me wrong, it's been the best journey of our life, but we have been so crazy busy! I never thought that doing God's work could be so excitingly exhausting.... if that is a word. I cannot even imagine how tired Christ must have been when he ministered for 3 years without having a place to even call "home". We covet our times of rest... just like Chuck Swindoll put it, very well I might add, "I get weary IN the work, but I never get weary OF the work"!
Angel is 18 now and in college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA. Jimmy is in Jr. High, 7th grade to be exact and Amber is in 5th. They are growing so fast and we try to absorb and bask in every moment we get to spend with them.
Ok, I will choose one recent family pic to attach with this post and then I will sign off until later, hopefully not too much later.
